Woodfall, G. (ed.)

JUNIUS Including Letters By the Same Writer, Under Other Signatures (in 3 volumes)

Printed by G. Woodfall for F.C. and J. Rivington (et al.)

2nd Edition

This is the rare 3 volume 2nd edition of the "Letters of Junius" edited by G. Woodfall. A WorldCat search conducted on November 18, 2012 found only only 1 library that had a copy of this 1814 edition.

To these volumes have been added the confidential correspondence of Junius with Mr Wilkes and his private letters addressed to Mr H. S. Woodfall with preliminary essay, notes, facsimiles in 3 Volumes. The first edition was published in 1772, this is the 2nd edition, published in 1814. The facsimile letters are folded back into the book and have been scanned.

Many books have been written about the "Junius Letters" and some have argued that Thomas Paine was the author. I have now proved that Paine was the author of the "Junius Letters." See my paper proving this at the following link:

See the link below for an article by Walton Williams entitled "The Declaration of Independence: Was It Written by Thomas Paine?'" This article was originally published is Hammonsport Herald of July 6, 1906.

Pages Vol. 1, vii + 588 pp; Vol. 2, xi + 518 pp., Vol. 3, xiii + 510 pp.
