This 4 volume set of Paine's works was edited by Moncure Conway and the first 2 volumes were published in 1894, volumee 3 in 1895, and volume 4 in 1896.

The 4 volume set contains the proof that Paine authored the Junius Letters.

This particular 4 volume set is from the library of Richard L. Salsbury.

Volume 1 contains writings from the years 1774 to 1779.
Volume 2 contains writings from the years 1779 to 1792.
Volume 3 contains writings from the years 1791 to 1804.
Volume 4 contains "The Age of Reason."
