Good Sense or Natural Ideas Opposed to Supernatural

J. P. Mendum

This a very rare book as an October 25, 2012 WorldCat search could only find 7 libraries worldwide that have a copy of this 1856 edition of this work.

The full particulars of this item is as follows: GOOD SENSE, OR, NATURAL IDEAS OPPOSED TO SUPERNATURAL; BEING A TRANSLATION FROM A WORK CALLED "LE BON SENS," by Baron d'Holbach. Corrected and Carefully Revised, by H. D. Robinson. Stereotype Edition.

A philosophical treatise against religion. The original French edition was published in 1772, and represents the spirit of militant rationalism that led up to the French Revolution. The first edition of Robinson's translation appears to have been published in 1836 by Matsell.
